Patrick Ness: More Than This

*SPOILER ALERT*

As I predicted, Patrick Ness's novel More Than This has definetly kept me at the edge of my seat.
Seth is still in limbo in his old town, in England, where he was born; but everything is old and decaying as if its been there for decades.
I also found out the mystery behind his death; he killed himself. He has also met some friends along the way -a little polish boy and a heavy set african american girl- who are also experiencing the same thing as Seth;

 They're all dead.

There is so many twists that you would just not see coming. With only 100 pages left, I know that its about to all come together. I am glued to this book, I do not want it to end.
I'm not giving up anymore info until next post!!

choice book project day #2

Patrick Ness: More Than This

Patrick Ness has yet again went above and beyond my expectations in his exquisite novel More Than This, which I have yet to put down. As expected, I have fallen in love with Seth, the main character. The introduction of the book definitely caught my attention, as Seth is drowning in hypothermic water.

He dies.

But wait! That's not the part that is truly puzzling; the next chapter he wakes up in the middle of a road, wet.

I don't want to give up any spoilers; but all I have to say is that this book has taken many twists and turns and has a tinge of mystery to it. As the book progresses you get bits and pieces of Seth's life before it had tragically ended. The question is: has Seth entered some sort of limbo? Or has he been saved? I believe Ness is going to keep me guessing. Although I have not been much of a mystery type gal, Ness has - once again - got me hooked. This ominous tale has yet to disappoint, and my prediction is that it will not.

choice book project day #1

Patrick Ness: More Than This

I chose the novel More Than This because Patrick Ness is my favorite author. Ness is known to execute a complex tale that will not only put you on the edge of your seat, but you will also find yourself in love with the dynamic charectars Ness produces. In other words, his style of writing is what I look for in a fiction/science fiction novel.
I hope to read yet another noteworthy piece Pastick Ness constructs through illustrative language and suspense.
